Description

A blazing star iridescent glass plate, this design was inspired by the traditional quilting block of the same name.  The inner star is red and amber, the outer points are cobalt blue and the whole is set on a turquoise blue background.  The plate is matt on the top surface and glossy underneath. The extent to which the iridescent shines or the transparent colours of the glass show depends on the colour of the surface on which the plate is placed as can be seen in the two photos, one is on a white surface, the second on black.   A lovely addition to decorate a coffee table or to serve sweets or biscuits.

The plate is  approx. 14.5cm square.

To care for this plate please do not use a knife or metal on it as over time that will scratch the surface as it would do any glass or glazed item.  It is not dishwasher proof,  handwashing is fine.  Similarly it is not oven or freezer proof, and obviously because it is glass care needs to be taken not to drop it!
